Seed Company needed a series of unexpected stories that showcased the power of having the Bible in your own language.

Finding the right stories was the first challenge. Getting there was second. Working closely with our contacts on location, we were granted access to a vibrant community deep in Kalimantan, Indonesia. This particular community had translated the Bible into their local language almost a decade earlier and had made it a key part of their church services & communal gatherings.

A communal story in three individual narratives.

Our approach to this challenge was to identify three key characters that could weave a holistic narrative of the entire community.

Shadows of the past tells the story of Afir*, a community leader who gave his personal account of life before & after receiving the bible in his language.


The language of worship tells the story of Saria*, a teacher who is using the bible to teach the next generation the value of holding on to their language.


Weakness to Strength tells the story of John*, a farmer who overcame his insecurities to translate the bible for his community.

This is one example of how Seed Company leveraged this content in a mobile pop-up booth.
